5 Gallon Blue Cylindrical Plastic UN Tight Head Container

Our 5 gallon blue cylindrical UN tight head containers are constructed of FDA approved high density polyethylene and have a drop or swing handle for easy pouring.  They have a UN designation of UN1H1/Y1.8/100 making them suitable for Packing Group II (Y)  or Packing Group III (Z) liquids.  They are shipped with a dust cap as shown in the picture to the right.  70mm Rieke  screw caps with 8 TPI (threads per inch) are sold separately and listed below.  They have an interlocking top and bottom allowing for easy stacking.  The have an overall height of 15 1/16″ and an exterior length of 11 7/16″.  These containers are typically used for the following:

  • water storage
  • agricultural chemicals
  • flavorings
  • paints
  • adhesives
  • mastics
  • janitorial supplies
  • maple syrup
