5 Gallon Steel Open Head Lined UN Pail

Our 5 gallon gray steel open head pail has a red phenolic (D8) lining and has a wire bail (handle) with a plastic grip.  It has a UN rating of UN1A2/Y1.5/100 when used with the matching lined lug cover, sold separately and listed below.  Red phenolic linings are typically used with products such as acid compounds, agricultural chemicals, insecticides, corrosive chemicals, solvents, inks, food products, essential oils and petroleum products.  Please note, however, that compatibility of the product with the container is the responsibility of the shipper.  Please call us to request a sample for testing with your product.  Need something different.  Please see our steel pails page for the different pails we have to offer.  We stock open head and tight head pails, both lined and unlined.  Please check the description if you require a UN designation. Some of our tight head pails require a Rieke spout to be crimped on and some of the pails have bungs or plugs.  All covers for open head pails are sold separately.
