8 Ounce – 1/2 Pint – Plastic Jar with 70mm Opening

Among the jars that we stock is an 8 ounce plastic jar with a 70 400 opening.  This type of jar is also referred to as a wide mouth packer.  Packed 336 per case, this jar is 2.875″ wide and is 3″ in height.  It is made from natural high density polyethylene and is FDA compliant.  The large 70 400 opening (approximately 2.756″) makes this jar easy to fill and empty.  Lids are sold separately, and listed below are both a white and a black plastic lid.  As always, compatibility of the product with the container is the responsibility of the shipper.  Please call us a sample for testing with your product.

They have good resistance to acids, alkalies, slow solvents, alcohols, oils and aqueous products. They have poor resistance to active hydrocarbon solvents. These liners comply with FDA regulation for food contact application.

70 400 024 Foam Black Plastic Round Item: PCA0700MR20011 UN Rating: Opening: 70 400 Pack: 760 Foam liners are used extensively for foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, industrial and household chemicals. They have good resistance to acids, alkalies, slow solvents, alcohols, oils and aqueous products. They have poor resistance to active hydrocarbon solvents. These liners comply with FDA regulation 177.1520(c)3.1 for food contact application.
