5 Gallon Blue Closed Head Steel Pails/Drums

We stock four tight head steel pails with a blue exterior.  Two of our pails have a Rieke opening and must use a Rieke flexspout (sold separately).  If you are not familiar with Rieke spouts, please read this article which has additional information. Additional information on our Rieke flexspout crimping tool can be found in this article.  One pail has a clear/gold phenolic lining and the other pail has a buff epoxy phenolic lining.

The other two steel pails/drums we stock have plugs.  They each have one 3/4″ and one 2″ plug.  One pail/drum is unlined while the other pail has a red phenolic lining.  Descriptions can be found by viewing the description under each individual drum.

5 Gallon Buff Epoxy Phenolic Blue Steel Round 0.5mm 24 GA Item: SPC0005CS4L001 UN Rating: 1A1/Y1.8/300 Opening: Tight Head Rieke Opening Pack: 36 Minimum Order 1,000 Pieces Our 5 gallon blue steel pail with a buff epoxy phenolic lining is a tight head pail with a Rieke opening. It has a hole covered with a dust cap. Pails are shipped empty, with the dust cap on, so they remain clean. The end user fills the pail and then crimps on a Rieke Flexspout (sold separately). A Rieke Flexspout is a retractable plastic pour spout which offers a reliable and tamper evident seal. When the spout is closed, it has a low profile for ease of stacking. The tamper evident cap has a pull tab for fast removal. To pour from this pail simply pull up the spout, dispense your product and reclose. UN1A1/Y1.8/300

5 Gallon Blue Steel Round 0.5mm 24 GA Item: SPC0005CS4U006 UN Rating: 1A1/X1.6/250 Opening: Tight Head Pack: 36 MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY 1,000 Our 5 gallon blue tight head steel pail, unlined with a rust inhibitor, has one 2" steel plug and one 3/4" Rieke Visegrip II steel plug with irradiated PE gaskets. These are pipe thread plugs.

5 Gallon Red Phenolic Blue Steel Round 0.5mm 24 GA Item: SPC0005CS4L002 UN Rating: UN1A1/X1.6/250 Opening: Tight Head Pack: 36 MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY 1,000 Our blue tight head steel pail with a 2 coat red phenolic lining has one 2" steel plug and one 3/4" pipe thread steel plug. Red phenolic linings are commonly used when transporting or storing agricultural chemicals, flavors and fragrances, acids and organic solvents. This is an FDA compliant pail and can take hot product up to 350 degrees F maximum. UN1A1/X1.6/250
