Plastisol Lined Metal Caps

Plastisol lined metal caps can be used in canning.  Our continuous thread caps should only be used in hot-fill (method that doesn’t require any processing) canning.  If you are looking to use the boiling water method of canning, you most likely would want lug/twist caps.  Finally, for pressure canning, you would want a special high heat liner.  The manufacturer states that plastisol may be used for packaging hot filled products that do not exceed 190 degrees F.

Most of our caps are white metal, however we do stock gold caps in two sizes.  We have a 58400 gold cap and a 70400 gold cap.
