Widemouth Plastic Jars
Widemouth plastic jars are those which have a opening which is slightly smaller than the the main body of the jar. The distinction between Straight Sided jars and Widemouth Plastic Jars is found on the interior of the jar. Widemouth Jars have a slight ridge at the neck of the jar so that when the cap is applied to the jar it is vertically flush with the exterior of the jar.
Widemouth plastic jars are stocked in sizes ranging from 16oz to 32oz.
Straight Sided Plastic Jars
Straight Sided plastic jars have an opening which is the same diameter as the main body of the jar. The interior is completely flush and smooth.
Please note:While straight sided jars appear to the naked eye to have vertically parallel sides, the sides are tapered slightly.
Straight sided plastic jars are available in sizes ranging from 1/4 oz to 32oz.
CC Round and Standard Round Plastic Jars
These jars have an opening which is smaller than the main diameter of the jar, (they are often called bottles because of this). The best example of this type of jar is probably sitting in your medicine cabinet. Aspirin and pills often come packed in CC round jars/bottles.
CC and Standard Round plastic jars are stocked in sizes ranging from 30cc (30cc = approx. 1 fluid oz.) to 1 gallon.
