Many people use the term bottle when they mean jar or jug or jug when they mean jar etc.To alleviate some of this confusion we have provided the following definitions list. Please select the item that most accurately describes what is that you are looking for.
Plastic Bottles
Any item made of plastic that has no handle and an opening which is less than 50% of the diameter of
the container
Plastic Jars
Any item made of plastic which has no handle and an opening which is greater than 50% of the diameter of
the container.
Plastic Jugs
Any item made of plastic which has a handle and an opening which is greater or less than 50% of the diameter of
the main container body.
None of these definitions should be viewed as applicable in all cases. They are meant to provide some clarification for recognizing the distinction amongst bottles, jars and jugs and to establish a simple monitoring logic by which these items could be divided into more distinct product areas.
